Hepatitis is an inflammation of the liver, a kind of irritation or infection of the liver. The liver is the most voluminous viscera of the body, and one of the most important in terms of metabolic activity of the organism.

When the person has hepatitis, the body is affected and can not properly perform its functions. There are many cases of people who have lived with the disease for years without knowing it and then discovered the damage the disease has caused in the liver.

Hence the importance of knowing your symptoms and how to prevent it. There are two forms of hepatitis, among the most common forms are:

  • Viral: There are many viruses that can cause hepatitis (from hepatitis A to hepatitis G) While viruses are relatively different from each other, they all have in common the fact that they cause an infection that is harmful to liver cells.
  • Inflammatory: This can occur in cases of people who drink too much alcohol, consume drugs or drugs or are exposed to some kind of poison.
