Nuclear medicine – the use in the diagnosis of diseases
Nuclear medicine is a medical specialty that different diagnostic and therapeutic potential uses, in which radioactive substances are used. At first glance, this sounds very dangerous to, but also used radio-isotopes decay very quickly, so there is no danger to humans.
Nuclear medicine is particularly frequently used to diagnose diseases of the thyroid. Similarly, but also occur in cancer, heart disease and rheumatic diseases in used.
