Aloe Vera: An Effective Remedy for Acne

What is acne?

Acne is the name used to designate grains: blackheads, whiteheads, and sometimes deeper lumps that form on the skin, especially on the face, neck, chest, back, shoulders and upper arms and legs. Almost all adolescents suffer from acne even minimally, also occurs in some adults. Although acne is not a serious health threat, it does affect the appearance of the person, which may impact on our concept of ourselves. The deep acne can leave permanent scars on the skin.

Who gets acne?

Almost all adolescents have at least some grain occasionally. The problem usually starts between 10 and 13 years of age and usually lasts between 5 and 10 years. Acne usually resolves spontaneously by age 20. However, there are times that can last up to 30 years and more. (more…)

Acne

Acne is an inflammatory disease that occurs in the skin that can affect anyone, but commonly occurs in adolescents and young adults.

The same comes from the hormonal changes experienced by adolescents, by the alteration of testosterone, male hormone, because it occurs more in men than in women.

Alteration occurs in the volume of secretions, thus increasing the size of theĀ  sebaceous glands of the skin and begin to produce more oil, that’s when some of the hair follicles connected to one of these glands causing pimples or blackheads cover . (more…)
