Diet of Papaya

The basis of this diet is the tropical papaya fruit rich in fiber, vitamins, calcium, iron and phosphorus.

Papaya is a tropical fruit very popular for its good flavor and the amount of health claims it contains.

This tropical fruit helps fight constipation, streamlines internal and external scarring, eliminate intestinal parasites, strengthens immunity due to its high content of Vitamin C, relieves pain and inflammation of the stomach, is helpful in cases of gastroenteritis and helps clean our skin from within.

Its composition is essentially water, although containing a very small percentage as sugar.

It is also considered a diuretic fruit, antioxidant, digestive and helps to combat cellulite.

INDICATIONS

* This diet should be done two times a week for 1 month.
* It contains 1,200 calories daily.
* Drink plenty of water.

DIET

Breakfast:

* 1 cup soy milk or skim milk with two tablespoons of wheat germ or other cereals
* 1 or 1 ½ piece of papaya

Food:

* Salad of tomato, carrot, corn, watercress leaves, red cabbage, 4 olives, oil and salt
* Brown rice with spinach

Snack:

* 1 piece of papaya or fruit salads

Dinner:

* 1 cup vegetable broth
* 1 baked potato or onion squid
* 1 piece of papaya

PLEASE NOTE

* If you get tired of eating papaya can replace five strawberries.
* If you get hungry mid-morning or afternoon snack when you eat a piece of papaya or fruit salads.
* It is very important not to exceed the time specified.
