Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis are usually mentioned together, though their signs and symptoms, at least in theory, are clearly distinct.

Quite typical is the relapsing course. Ulcerative colitis begins in the rectum and spreads toward the colon. She remains confined to the Crohn’s disease can affect the entire gastrointestinal tract.
