Homeopathy was developed in the early 1800s by Samuel Hahnemann. It is an alternative medicine and is based on the “law of similars”, where the diseases are cured with medicine, which in normal doses produce the same symptoms as the disease, but in minute doses produce a cure. As with vaccines, is given a dose of the illness to be treated. All natural homeopathic remedies are derived from animal, vegetable or mineral.

The diseases are treated according to their symptoms. The study lists a disease homeopathic symptoms, mental and emotional states. It also includes the time of day in which the patient feels worse, and that in any case, make the symptoms worse or better (in bed, fresh air, movement, etc..). Homeopathic remedies are not toxic. If given the wrong medication no negative effects, simply do not see a change in symptoms. Just re-evaluate and re-administer.

This is not as complex as it seems, and can be simplified with the purchase of a good book on homeopathy for the home and a small kit. Some of the “medicines” used are:

- Arnica Montana for bruises indispensable: Effective to reduce inflammation.
- Chamomile: helps to calm babies when they are with the teeth and lowers fevers
- Ipecac: used for intestinal cramps and nausea.
- Bryonia: excellent for constipation. Normally working with a single dose.

For example, homeopathic remedies are appropriate with Aconite, if the skin is dry and hot, the patient is cold and the fever rises quickly. It is also the Homöopathikum of choice if the child is very restless and anxious. Belladonna is helpful if the skin is hot and humid or if the child has a fever fantasies.
