The affected person may submit any of the following conditions:
* Menstrual period less than 21 days
* Frequency greater than 35 days
* Absence of menstruation for more than six months
* Bleeding, usually abundant
* Bleeding unrelated to menstruation
* Spotting, pre-ovulatory, premenstrual and postcoital
Treatment
Must be individualized according to the age of the affected their decision about contraception or fertility, side effects, cost of treatment, severity and chronicity of the bleeding. The doctor must first rule out pregnancy and assess the severity in terms of blood loss.
