In Nielsen, a company that is dedicated to providing information regarding the ratings, business and other services, did a study on the global obesity.

Obesity in the first instance, seems to be a problem only of Americans, and yet this is very far from reality, in truth there are people around the world trying to lose weight.

Nielsen consulted citizens of 52 different countries and found that over half of those questioned were overweight. While the concern over obesity is worldwide, ways of addressing this issue vary according to each location.

How will you do in different parts of the world to lose weight?

Changing your diet.

78% of people think about making changes in your diet. One in five people in the world believe that their diet is healthy in the U.S. only one in seven think they eat healthy.

68% said it expects to eliminate fat, 65% intend to leave the chocolates and sugar, 53% intend to start eating fresh food, 46% of respondents plan to eat smaller portions of food you’re eating. 29% decided to eat fewer processed foods. And less than 10% intend to follow diets like Atkins or similar programs.

Get more exercise.

More than two thirds of respondents thought exercise more, but the definition of exercise varies. Not all countries are exercised as often in North America while having the higher registers of overweight, are also the most commonly exercised.

Diet pills or specialty shakes.

More and more people who think resorting to diet pills and other supplements. However, this method is more costly to lose weight.
